About the European Open Source Awards
The European Open Source Awards recognise exceptional contributions to Open Source Software, Open Source Hardware, and Open Technology across Europe. The 3rd Annual European Open Source Awards will take place at the historic Théâtre du Vaudeville in Brussels, honouring those whose work has strengthened Europe's open source ecosystem through innovation, collaboration, education, advocacy, business leadership, and community impact.
Nominations are open to everyone. Colleagues, collaborators, users, researchers, community members, and self-nominations are all welcome. The nomination period runs from 1 September 2026 until 1 November 2026 (end of day).
